Every year fantasy baseball players are overrated due to previous seasons and unfilled hope. Last year we had one of the worst failed players in a season, Adam Dunn, who was ranked highly in the ESPN rankings. This year I am going to give a heads up on some of the players that could end up hurting a fantasy team by position due to injuries or high hopes that have been built up from previous seasons.
Catchers: Carlos Santana
1B: N/A
2B: Ben Zobrist
3B: Kevin Youkilis
SS: Jose Reyes
OF: Curtis Granderson, Alex Gordon, Shane Victorino, Jay Bruce
SP: CJ Wilson, Matt Garza, Mat Latos
Now that some time has past...your list is looking good...Santana is REALLY sucking right now after his contract was signed...another contract year player?...Reyes isn't in a contract year now and underperforming, Youkilis is sucking, Victorino is aging right before our eyes but still putting up some ok numbers just not what we've come to expect, Garza isn't the same, and Latos isn't at PETCO any longer...nice job on identifying these fantasy clowns!!
